A tragic aviation incident has occurred in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where a passenger aircraft carrying 242 people including over 50 British citizens has crashed. According to FlightRadar, the plane lost contact at just 625 feet shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad Airport, with the last signal received moments after departure.

The Ahmedabad police commissioner told Associated Press there appeared to be no survivors from the crash.
