A woman took the perfect photo of the eye of the storm just after Storm Ciara wreaked havoc across northern Europe from February 8 to 10.
The photos show the natural formation of clouds that gathered around a full moon, giving the impression that Mother Nature was looking down on the earth once the storm had passed.

Sarah Hodges, 48, from Bolton, UK, noticed the moon shining brightly on the evening of February 11 and, hoping to share the sight with her friends, took some pictures to share with her loved ones.
Using nothing more than a Samsung S9 phone, Sarah took a few snaps before posting them to Facebook. Little did she know, they would go viral, earning over 2.3K likes and 35K shares, as users applauded her for her impressive images.
One user wrote: “Wow, Mother Nature. 100 percent brilliant.” Another said: “Nature’s third eye.” A third simply wrote: “Amazing.”
Sarah, who works full-time as a baker, said: “I took the photos on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, between 9:34 p.m. and 9:39 p.m., right from my bedroom window at my address.”
Explaining that she took the photos just after the weather had calmed down, Sarah added: “The moon was shining through the kitchen window, so I went upstairs and kept taking photos… I’m obsessed with the moon, sunset and sunrise, and the sea. I just used my Samsung S9. I know I got lucky, people spend thousands of dollars on cameras to get the perfect shot. I feel overwhelmed and proud, as it’s a once-in-a-lifetime photo… which I understand.”

“It was only when I scrolled through the images that I noticed the moon was centered around the clouds because in real time, the clouds were constantly moving. I took the photos manually without any shutter adjustments, so I was incredibly lucky to get the shot.”
So, despite the carnage caused by the storm’s 120 km/h winds and torrential rain, there was a certain beauty among the chaos.
