Jennifer Fernanda Camacho, 15, who disappeared on January 29 in the 3 de Octubre neighborhood, was located in the municipality of Teziutlán, Puebla, along with Óscar Avelino Márquez, the 33-year-old man who had manipulated her into running away from home.
The arrest of Óscar Avelino was carried out by the Puebla Prosecutor’s Office, which, in coordination with authorities from Baja California, managed to capture the suspect for his alleged participation in the forced disappearance of the minor.
Jennifer had been a victim of grooming, a pedophilic deception committed by adults to emotionally manipulate minors for the purpose of abuse.
After days of anguish, the minor will be reunited with her family, while the authorities continue with the investigations to clarify the case and carry out the corresponding legal process.
